SPECIAL UPDATE – ARTHOUSE HALTON
We are thrilled to announce that following 17 years of supporting our children and youth we are inviting isolated seniors to explore the beauty of the arts with us:
- We will continue to grow our Children’s Programming;
- We will be supporting Seniors at a number of accessible locations;
- We will be bringing our two generations together on special occasions with Arts-based activities;
- We have a strong team of professional instructors who are excited to support both demographics;
- We are still the only organization of its type throughout Halton providing these types of programs.
MISSION
ArtHouse Halton is a charitable organization providing free Creative Arts programs that engage and enrich the lives of children, youth and seniors who have limited access to fee-based activities. We go beyond the arts, nurturing young people’s well-being, building life skills that shape their futures, and creating opportunities that forge connection, enhance quality of life, and spark joy for seniors.
OUR WORK
We are like a partnership – sharing important resources – program managers, instructors, venue providers, volunteers and our generous donors who ensure that we can bring our participants together with weekly programs that energize, engage and educate. ArtHouse is more than just the arts – we believe we are shaping lives.
As a charitable organization that relies on the generosity of our financial supporters, our mission is to direct those funds to Community and Hub programs that support young people and seniors residing within the Region of Halton and where cost is a barrier. While we do not want to discourage anyone from participating, we know there may be disappointments and thank you for your understanding.
IN-KIND SUPPORT
We are always grateful for offers of program supplies, musical instruments, and occasionally furniture and appliances for some of our families. Accepting these items will depend entirely on current demand or need as we have extremely limited storage capacity. However, you are welcome to notify us through our Contact Us page.
